Chocolaty and gooey chocolate chip muffins

    These muffins are all chocolaty and gooey on the inside. Easy peasy recipe explained in simple steps. Anyone can do it!

    Makes: 6 muffins

    • 175g self-raising flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • 50g caster sugar
    • 100ml milk
    • 40ml oil
    • 1 medium egg
    • 75g chocolate chips

    1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Put 6 muffin cases in the tin.
    2. Mix flour, bicarbonate of soda and sugar.
    3. Measure oil and milk into a jug. Add egg and beat.
    4. Add chocolate chips to flour mixture.
    5. Pour the milk mixture from the jug into the flour. Stir well.
    6. Spoon into muffin cases.
    7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until risen and golden brown.
    8. Remove from oven, allow to cool.
    9. Enjoy!!!
