Tropical fruit and nut drops

    30 min

These fruit drops are extremely healthy, easy to make and don't require any baking. My tripolatas absolutely love them.

    Makes: 20 drops

    • 65g hazelnuts
    • 65g Brazil nuts
    • 75g dried mango
    • 75g dried pineapple
    • 75g dried apricots
    • 4 tablespoons dessicated coconut
    • 2 to 4 teaspoons banana flavouring

    Prep:30min  ›  Ready in:30min

    1. Add the nuts to a food processor and mix until they are finely chopped.
    2. Add the dried fruit and mix until these are finely chopped (this stage could take a while).
    3. Add the coconut and banana flavouring and give it a final whiz.
    4. Spoon into moulds or roll into balls and place in the fridge to set, overnight is best

I can make a little over 20 drop using cake pop moulds. These will keep in an airtight container for a few days, longer in the fridge. I wrap each drop in cling film, this makes them easier to carry around when out and about with my tripolatas.
