Into a large, deep frying pan add the soy sauce, brown sauce, vinegar and oil. Add enough cold water to cover the bottom of the frying pan to a depth of 1cm. If you add too much it doesn't matter as you are going to boil it down.
Place the sausages into the cold frying pan and place over a high heat. As the sausages heat the ingredients will cook together. Quorn™ does not fall apart when cooked this way. Turn occasionally keeping a close eye as the liquid starts to reduce. Lower heat as the liquid reduces to prevent burning.
Depending at which stage you remove your sausages they can be sticky or crispy (for sticky, cook for about 15 minutes). Enjoy!
Safety first! Please remember that you can NOT add water to hot oil. You can cook safely with cold oil and water heated together but never add water at a later stage if hot oil is involved.
You can change brown sauce for other flavours like French mustard or apple sauce but I've found you always needs the oil and vinegar and still find the brown sauce the best!
