Sandcastle cake


    This fun recipe is easy to make and scummy!

    • 100g Softened butter
    • 100g Caster sugar
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1/4 Tablespoon salt
    • 1 Tablespoon milk
    • 100g Self-raising flour
    • 1 Clean sandcastle mould
    • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract


    1. Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F
    2. Beat butter in large bowl until fluffy
    3. Add sugar and continue beating
    4. Add egg slowly whisking after every time
    5. Sift flour into bowl
    6. Add vanilla and salt
    7. Whisk then add milk
    8. Fill sandcastle mould with mixture
    9. Bake for 15 minutes on middle shelf
    10. Place a flag on top for a finishing touch
