About this recipe:I found this recipe on spoonful.com whilst looking for a slow cooker recipe for use with chicken pieces and what few ingredients I had left in the cupboard before shopping, and this was what I found. I made a slight variation using four fruit marmalade and it was just as delicious, and I made some minor adjustments to the recipe.

Remove the skin from the chicken, then coat each piece with flour and place in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Mix together the marmalade, orange juice, soy sauce, ketchup and garlic in a small bowl until well combined. Pour mixture over the chicken making sure it coats each piece.
Cut away the top and bottom part of the orange and cut the remaining orange into 8 slices and arrange them on top of the chicken.
Cook on a low heat for 6 hours.
Best served on a bed of rice. You could try other fruits, juices and conserves but I've only so far tried it with orange juice and four fruit marmalade. For example you could try sliced plums with damson jam and grape juice.
