    About this recipe: I prefer to make this stuffing at Christmas or for special occasions because it feels festive and has delicious flavour, too.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8 

    • 1 pack good quality sausages
    • 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
    • 1 box stuffing mix
    • 1 pack bacon
    • 1 tin pickled walnuts

    Method
    Prep:30min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Cut open the sausages, take out the meat and discard the casings. Add the onion, sage and stuffing mix.
    2. Line a loaf tin with the bacon. Add some of the sausage mixture to the tin. Add a layer of walnuts then repeat layers, ending with the sausage mixture. Fold the bacon over the top of the mixture.
    3. Bake in a preheated 180 C / Gas 4 oven for 20 to 30 minutes along with your roast dinner or Christmas dinner. Enjoy!
