Triple drenched fried chicken

    • 6 brined chicken thighs
    • 6-8 tbsp plain flour
    • 1 tbsp paprika
    • 2 tsp dried oregano
    • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 pints buttermilk
    • Maple syrup


    1. Poach the chicken in the brine fir 45 mins until just cooked.
    2. Mix all the dry ingredient in a bowl, and pour the buttermilk into another bowl.
    3. Take the chicken thighs, one at a time, coat in the buttermilk, them the flour mix. Repeat this 3 times with each thigh. Once all are coated, place in a deep fat fryer and fry until golden and crisp.
    4. Put on a plate and drizzle with a little maple syrup and serve. You won't want KFC after eating these, I know I haven't since having them. Hope you enjoy them.
