40g soft brown sugar
250g digestive biscuits, crushed
75g glace cherries, quartered
55g flaked almonds
1 small tin condensed milk

Preheat the oven 160 C / Gas 3. Line a 20x20cm baking tin with baking parchment.
In a small saucepan over a medium heat, melt the margarine and sugar. Place the crushed digestives into a bowl then pour the melted butter over and stir to mix so that the digestives are well coated and clumping together. Transfer to the prepared baking tin and press down with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle with sultanas, cherries and almonds then pour over the condensed milk.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool fully in the tin. Using the baking parchment to help you, lift out of the tin, cut into squares and serve.
