1 teaspoon diabetic sugar (e.g. Xylitol® or Canderel®)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons ground cayenne
1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley

Nice and simple, put all of the ingredients into a grinder and grind to a light powder. If you are using a pestle and mortar, my advice would be to start the process with the 6 cardamom pods, sea salt and sugar then slowly, bit by bit, add the oregano and remaining ingredients. Use or store in an airtight container.
Rub olive oil into your meat or fish before sprinkling as much of the diabetic piri piri seasoning on as you like. Enjoy!
In place of the diabetic sugar, you can use 2 teaspoons granulated sugar.
