Delicious peppermint creams

    20 min

This recipe is quick and easy to make! It only takes 15 minutes, it's so easy you can do it with preschool children with little or even no help. There is only three ingredients needed (more if wanted) in this recipe and you will probably have 1, 2 or even all of them in your home.

    Serves: 8

    • 225g icing sugar
    • 2 to 4 tablespoons milk
    • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
    • 1 to 2 drops food coloring (optional)
    • 55g chocolate, melted (optional)

    Prep:20min  ›  Ready in:20min

    1. Sift the icing sugar into a large bowl. Make a little well in the centre of the icing sugar and pour the milk and peppermint extract (also food colouring if wanted). Mix thoroughly until thick.
    2. Roll out onto any surface, or onto baking parchment, and use a cutter to make shapes. Or pick little lumps out of the mixture and flatten them out to make circles. If desired, you can melt some chocolate in the microwave (or any other method) and coat your peppermint creams in chocolate, allowing to set before enjoying. Now you're done! Enjoy!

You can store your peppermint creams in a jar, in a tin or box or even put them in the fridge.

    Final texture

The peppermint creams will dry and harden once made. Covering them in chocolate will help to keep them softer if desired.
