Easy slow cooker sausage casserole

About this recipe: This is a casserole my two boys love. So easy, filing and cheap to do. Now, you may add other veg in to it if you wish to e.g. carrots.

Serves: 4 

  • 6 sausages
  • 1 to 2 tins baked beans
  • 1 jar sausage casserole cooking sauce

  1. Preheat the slow cooker to low setting.
  2. Warm a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat then add the sausages and cook and turn to brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and chop into 4 pieces per sausage.
  3. Add sausages, beans and any other veg to your slow cooker and stir. Add casserole cooking sauce to the sausage mix and stir.
  4. Cook in the slow cooker on low for 8 hours or on high for 6 hours.


You can do this in the oven I must say I not tried it so I cant give timing but I guess it be about 1 hour or so.


The sausages can be pork or vegetarian sausages based on personal preference.
