About this recipe: The great combination of these ingredients creates a perfect cheesecake. The ricotta cheese gives an amazing creamy texture, while the touch of orange gives a lovely citrus flavour. Plus, it is as easy as it gets - put everything in the food processor and that's it!


Serves: 8 

  • 1 (400g) tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 400g ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice, freshly squeezed

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a 20cm (8 in) springform cake tin with baking parchment and generously grease with margarine.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Spoon the mixture into the prepared cake tin and smooth the top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Serve sliced with a dollop of whipped cream or a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
