Nobody will say 'no' to homemade Italian-style ice cream! The ice cream is not too sweet so use the ripest, sweetest berries you can find for the sauce. Enjoy!
Warm 150ml milk in a heavy based saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar and honey and stir to dissolve. Remove from heat and cool; add remaining 150ml milk, cream and yogurt and stir well to mix.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and following manufacturer's instructions.
To make the berry sauce: Place berries and sugar in a pan and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce thickens up.
