    About this recipe: This came from a family friend in Australia. It's absolutely delicious and it's always the first thing to get gobbled up. It's great served with pitta, oat cakes, crisps or anything that's 'dippable'!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 2 ripe avocadoes
    • 1 small tub soured cream
    • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
    • 100g grated Cheddar cheese
    • 1 handful cherry tomatoes, chopped
    • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced

    Method

    1. Mash avocados with the soured cream. Depending how tangy you want it, add the taco seasoning (maybe start with half and then taste).
    2. Mix all together and place in a serving dish, then cover with the tomatoes, cheese and spring onions. Serve with pitta or chips.

    Tip

    Needs to be eaten on the day and made near the arrival of your guests as otherwise the avocado will oxidise and turn brown.
