Peanut butter, banana and chia seed spread

    I call this 'bananutter-chia' spread and it's perfect for spreading on oatcakes, or wholemeal toast for a healthy breakfast or mid-morning energy snack! It will keep for a few days in the fridge.

    Makes: 8 tablespoons

    • 2 small bananas
    • 2 tablespoons good quality peanut butter
    • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, or to taste

    1. Use a fork to mash bananas and peanut butter together in a bowl until desired consistency is reached; stir in chia seeds. Cover bowl with clingfilm and chill .
