Chia seed gel

Chia seeds are a great source of fibre and protein. They expand in liquid, making you feel fuller. I like to mix the chia seeds with water in advance so I can add a teaspoon to porridge, smoothies, yoghurt or use as a thickener. This is just a general idea for using chia seeds - once you start to use them, you will know how much is right for you to use. This gel can be stored in the fridge and used for 3 weeks.

Great directions for a general idea on chia gel. Once you start to consume this often all you have to do is eyeball it.  -  06 Aug 2012  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
