Warm a non stick pan over a medium heat then add the sugar and stir constantly until it melts and caramelises. After the sugar caramelises add the butter and stir constantly until completely melted.
Gradually pour in the cream while stirring and increase the heat to bring the sauce to the boil and cook and stir for 1 minute. Remove from the heat, taste test and add salt to taste if desired. Use or pour into a sterilised jar to store until needed.
If you want to eat the sauce more tastier in flavour eat it with muffins or sponge cake etc
