Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Line a 12 hole muffin tin with paper cases.
Add the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a bowl and give it a quick stir. Make a hole in the middle of your ingredients and add the two eggs, milk and butter. Make sure the butter is very soft (melt in the microwave if needed). Stir together with a wooden spoon. If you want to use a mixer you can but it is not needed.
Chop your chocolate and fruit very small, you don't want big chunks in your muffins. Add this into your cake mixture and give it one last stir. Divide mixture equally into 12 muffin cases, filling only 3/4 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until risen, golden brown and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
