About this recipe: This is really tasty! Perfect for Kid's lunchboxes or just as a treat. Choose any fruit you want. This is also good for parties. I would not recommend apples or bananas as they will go brown.

Serves: 6 

  • 150g chocolate of your choice, roughly chopped
  • 1 punnet fresh fruit e.g. strawberries
  • 2 to 3 tablespooons hundreds and thousands

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, or in a pan over barely simmering water and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and allow to cool a little.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the fruit to be dipped into chocolate. When the chocolate has cooled, dip the fruit in the chocolate and dip into the hundreds and thousands and leave the chocolate to set (see tip) by placing on a tray lined with baking parchment. Continue until all the fruit and chocolate is used up. Enjoy!


You can speed up the setting process by placing the tray of fruit in the fridge for 30 minutes.
