Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2. Grease a large loaf tin and line with baking parchment.
Mix 3 eggs with 3 tablespoons of milk and vanilla and set aside.
In another bowl combine the flour, sugar and baking powder. Then add butter and beat until you get a smooth texture. Now gradually beat in the egg and milk mixture followed by the vanilla extract. Transfer the mixture to the prepared cake tin.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 55 to 65 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Voila!
