Matcha mango green smoothie

    Matcha green tea powder and kale make this superfood smoothie extra green. White beans add a little extra protein too!

    • 1 banana
    • 165g frozen mango chunks
    • 2 leaves kale, torn into several pieces
    • 3 tablespoons tinned white beans, drained
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened grated coconut
    • 1/2 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
    • 235ml water

    1. Combine banana, mango, kale, white beans, coconut and matcha powder in a blender; add water. Blend mixture until very smooth.

    This is a good and healthy smoothie. I would suggest adding a banana to smooth it out and maybe a bit of sweetener or sugar for a wee bit of a sweet flavour.  -  07 Jul 2018  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

    Thanks for posting this recipe! I used it as a base for my smoothie. It was delicious, filling and kept me full for a good part of the day. I used almond milk instead of water,added 1/2 of an avocado, ground chia seeds, 1 tbsp. Peanut Butter, and 1 tsp of honey. I like some sweetness.
