    A quick and delicious smoothie made with raspberries, blackberries, bananas and yogurt.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 1 small banana
    • 70g blackberries
    • 125g fresh raspberries
    • 170g vanilla yogurt
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 4 ice cubes

    Method

    1. Place banana, blackberries, raspberries, yogurt, honey and ice cubes into a blender. Blend until smooth.

    I followed the recipe exactly. It was very tasty and easy to make. However, you need to strain it before drinking, as the blackberry seeds are impossible to ignore. Next time I'll substitute something else for the blackberries.  -  11 Sep 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

    Excellent. I used greek yogurt because that was all I had on hand. Made one batch, then turned around and made another because my kids and I loved it so much. Great use of this year's bumper crop of blackberries/raspberries.  -  07 Sep 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

    I have a Vitamix, so that pretty much took care of the seed problem but I can see how this would be an issue without this workhorse of a blender. So I'm not so sure blackberries, with their huge seeds, are the best choice for smoothies. The flavor was good, but we found the banana just a little distracting for a "Raspberry Blackberry Smoothie." I used frozen berries, so the ice cubes weren't necessary, but a little milk to thin it out was.  -  30 May 2011  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
