    About this recipe: Ground almonds and nutritional yeast are blended together to create a vegan alternative for those who cannot eat real Parmesan cheese. The taste is so similar when used in pesto or on top of pasta, it is hard to tell the difference. Try it on top of popcorn too!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8 

    • 30g nutritional yeast
    • 30g ground almonds
    • 1 pinch sea salt (optional)

    1. Combine nutritional yeast, ground almonds and salt in a blender. Using short pulses, blend the ingredients just enough to come together.
