About this recipe: This recipe is a old classic. It is special because when you cook it is right for you and when you butter it is so juicy with flavours. The textures are so good you can notice them from one single bit.

Serves: 1 

  • 1 slice wholemeal bread
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons butter
  • Bovril®, to taste

Prep:1min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Ready in:3min 

  1. Toast the bread in the toaster: if want crispy cook for: 2 minutes and 15 seconds. If want soft cook for 1 minute and 15 seconds otherwise until golden brown.
  2. Remove the bread from the toaster and place on a plate. Spread with butter then finally, spread gently the Bovril® on top of the butter.
