    About this recipe: Gluten free and low carb. Tasty dish which can be fried or baked! These lamb burgers are flavoured with feta cheese, cumin, mint and paprika. Oregano is also a nice addition.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 4 burgers

    • 500g lamb mince
    • 1 to 2 spring onions, finely chopped
    • 200g crumbled feta cheese
    • 1 small egg, beaten
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 teaspoon dried mint
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • salt to taste

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. If baking, preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    2. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
    3. Split the mixture into 4, and form into 4 burgers.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on thickness. Alternatively, pan fry the burgers in a frying pan over medium high heat for about 6 minutes per side, or till no longer pink in the centre.
