    About this recipe: Gluten free and low carb easy kebabs, made from both beef and lamb and flavoured with paprika, garlic, mustard and spring onion.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 225g minced lamb
    • 225g minced beef
    • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
    • 1 small egg, beaten
    • 1 green pepper, cut into 3cm pieces
    • 1 small courgette, sliced
    • 1 handful mushrooms or cherry tomatoes

    Method
    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Mix the mince, onion, garlic, spices and mustard. When mixed well, add the egg to bind.
    2. Take about 1 heaped tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Continue with the rest of the mince mixture.
    3. Thread onto skewers with the sliced vegetables.
    4. Grill under high heat (or on the BBQ) for 4 to 5 minutes each side until browned.

    Tip

    You can use all beef or all lamb mince, but I think the combination works nicely! Substitute any veg on the kebabs you like. Or add in cubes of halloumi cheese.
