About this recipe: Often feel like you need a mid-morning snack to put you in until lunchtime? Maybe a more filling yet super nutritious breakfast could help. I love this easy jar of oats for breakfast and it really does fill me up until midday.

Serves: 1 

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 150ml coconut, almond or soya milk
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 4 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 small handful blueberries

Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:8hr  ›  Ready in:8hr10min 

  1. Mix the oats, chai seeds and milk together in a jar.
  2. Layer banana on the top followed by the strawberries and blueberries.
  3. Leave in the fridge overnight.
  4. Give a stir adding a little more milk if needed to get it to the consistency you like, then enjoy.


Some people layer the fruit in but I like to keep mine on top of the oats to prevent it going soggy.
