Gourmet Parmesan ice cream

    This is a very easy and delicious recipe with the most loved Italian cheese: Parmesan. Get creative and serve this as a cool starter before your next Italian meal.

    • 500ml double cream
    • 120g finely grated Parmesan cheese

    1. Heat the cream in a pan, but do not boil.
    2. When the cream is steaming, remove from the heat and add the Parmesan, stirring well until the cheese has completely melted.
    3. Transfer to a plastic or metal container. Leave the mixture to rest in the coldest part of your fridge for 5 hours, then keep it in the freezer for the same amount of time, stirring occasionally.
    4. Transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
