    About this recipe: Quick, easy and the kids love it. Serve with chips, salad or just on its own.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 6 bacon slices, cut into lardons
    • 3 medium onions, roughly chopped
    • 1/2 cauliflower, cut into florets
    • 1/2 broccoli, cut into florets
    • 500g fusilli pasta
    • 200g sweetcorn
    • 200g garden peas
    • 500g jar pasta bake cheese sauce
    • 250g grated Cheddar cheese
    • 1 tablespoon paprika

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Fry bacon and onion in a frying pan adding a tablespoon of oil. Fry for 10 minutes or until lardons are browned and the onions translucent.
    2. In a pan, simmer the broccoli and cauliflower for 10 minutes. In a second pan boil the pasta for 10 minutes. Drain well and place veg and pasta in a large ovenproof dish. Add the bacon and onion along with the sweetcorn, peas and the jar of sauce. Mix well, then top with the grated cheese and sprinkle paprika over the cheese.
    3. Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 180 C / Gas 4 oven, till the cheese has melted and is just going light brown.

    Tip

    Serves upto 6.
