About this recipe:
So here's my recipe for garlic mushrooms. It's really quick and tasty as well as being perfect as a starter or a simple snack with a side dollop of mayonnaise.
25g unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200g button mushrooms
salt and black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped)
- Melt the butter in a pan. Add garlic, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for several minutes till mushrooms are soft and have given up their juices.
- Add the parsley and cook for a further minute or two.
- Spoon into a bowl and eat as they are or with a little mayo.
Add extra garlic and butter if you prefer a stronger taste.
