About this recipe: So here's my recipe for garlic mushrooms. It's really quick and tasty as well as being perfect as a starter or a simple snack with a side dollop of mayonnaise.

Serves: 2 

  • 25g unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 200g button mushrooms
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped)

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Melt the butter in a pan. Add garlic, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for several minutes till mushrooms are soft and have given up their juices.
  2. Add the parsley and cook for a further minute or two.
  3. Spoon into a bowl and eat as they are or with a little mayo.


Add extra garlic and butter if you prefer a stronger taste.
