About this recipe: Everyone loved this recipe so have to share. Takes about 10 minutes to make. Really easy to make.

Serves: 4 

  • 80g granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250ml whole milk
  • 50ml tarragon vinegar

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Whisk together the sugar, flour and mustard until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk and egg yolks. Gradually whisk in the mustard mixture, then the vinegar.
  3. Whisking constantly, bring the mixture to the boil. Immediately reduce heat and simmer, whisking, until thickened.
