Halloween blood jelly cocktail

This is a delightful little Halloween dessert. It's not actually a drinkable cocktail - it's just jelly served in a cocktail glass and there's definitely no blood involved. This version includes vodka for the adults but you can make a non-alcoholic version and serve it in a different style of glass for the kids.

- 2 packets red jelly crystals
- 125ml vodka (optional)

- Combine the jelly crystals from 1 packet and 250ml of boiling water; stir until all the jelly is dissolved.
- Add the vodka if using and 125ml of cold water. If not using the vodka, add 250ml of cold water. Combine well and let cool.
- Pour into serving glasses, cocktail glasses work well. Place in the fridge to set.
- Pour the second packet of jelly crystals on a side plate. On a second side plate add some water. Dip the jelly glass rims into the water, then into the jelly crystals to create a red rim on the glass.
