Quick and easy Yorkshire pudding

About this recipe: Just eggs, milk and flour, baked in muffin tins with melted butter - a dozen easy Yorkshire puddings.


Serves: 12 

  • 3 eggs
  • 235ml milk
  • 125g plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat eggs with milk. Stir in flour. Set aside.
  3. Divide butter evenly into the twelve holes of a muffin tin, about 1/2 teaspoon per hole. Place tin in oven to melt butter, 2 to 5 minutes. Remove tin from oven, and distribute batter evenly into holes with melted butter.
  4. Bake in preheated oven 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 180 C / Gas 4; bake 25 minutes more or until puffed and golden.
