All you need for this fish batter is flour, salt, baking powder, milk and water. The results will be thinly-coated, crispy and delicious pieces of fish!
This is a horrible recipe, ruined two good cod fillets trying it. The baking soda is too much and literally has the batter frothing to the point were it turns into a semi disintegrated mess in the oil. Look elsewhere for a decent fish batter, this is not edible and should be removed from the site. - 11 Feb 2018

How can a fifth of the dry ingredients be baking powder. It tasted awful. It didn’t stick to the fish and was not crispy at all.. probably as it had milk in it. I ruined some lovely bass with this . My 8 year old son said he couldn’t eat it. Fortunately I had more fish and knocked up a batter mix that was way crispier and my family could actually eat. Don't use this recipe.
