Cornedbeef pie

    A dinner my mother made up just after world war 2....still a family favourite through e generations.

    • I tin corned beef
    • One large tin baked beans one ox cube
    • One large egg
    • Four ounces plain flou
    • Milk and seasoning


    1. Crush corned beef with a fork into small chunks and place in an oven proof dish
    2. Sprinkle over the o xo and one tbs water
    3. Mix together flour egg and milk to a thick batter
    4. Tip batter over the bean and meat mixture
    5. Bake in ore heated oven 180/200 degrees
    6. Eat with o xo gravy potatoes and veg of choice
