About this recipe: This is a traditional Dutch dish called 'hete bliksem' which literally means 'hot lightning'. Potatoes are boiled with 2 types of apples, then mashed. Traditionally it's served with black pudding, but I usually serve it with pork belly. Can be served with fried onions, or with extra butter or with treacle. You can also boil the potatoes in stock instead of water.
