    About this recipe: Apples and pears are covered with a buttery oat topping and baked into a sweet crumble. Top with vanilla ice cream!

    Serves: 8 

    • 120g oats
    • 60g plain flour
    • 110g brown sugar
    • 115g butter, softened
    • 250g peeled and diced apples
    • 330g peeled and diced pears
    • 110g brown sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 50g flaked almonds, or to taste

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Mix oats, flour, 110g brown sugar and butter together in a bowl until crumbly.
    3. Mix apples, pears, 110g brown sugar and cinnamon together in a separate bowl; spread over the bottom of a baking dish. Sprinkle oat mixture on top of apple-pear mixture; top with flaked almonds.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 40 minutes.
