I made these but added some minced garlic, garlic powder and onion powder to the cream cheese filling. I used half a slice of bacon. I used a disposable decorator bag to pipe the filling down the bacon for a mess free application! These turned out great!  -  02 Jan 2017  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Ew. The one reviewer who was surprised the filling didn't boil out should have seen the mess that was on my baking sheet. The bacon was basically boiling in a soup of cream cheese and brown sugar. I cut the bacon pieces in half, as suggested by another reviewer, but maybe I tried to put too many on the sheet at once (because who really cooks one at a time?). Th the flavor was not worth a second attempt, tho. Sorry.  -  02 Apr 2018  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

I made these and I was disappointed. Glad that I only made 3. The cream cheese and sugar spread spilled out of the wrapped bacon while cooking. 15 minutes seemed to leave the bacon a little raw for my liking. It would not crisp up and eventually the sugar began to burn past carmelized. I do not personally like chewy bacon, this is a no for me.  -  27 Mar 2018  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
