Smoked bacon bites

    Smoked bacon is wrapped around a cream cheese and brown sugar mixture in this quick and easy roll-up that's easily scaled for a crowd.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 1/2 teaspoons cream cheese
    • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
    • 1 slice smoked bacon

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Preheat oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Line a rimmed baking tray with foil.
    2. Mix cream cheese and brown sugar together in a small bowl; spread over bacon slice. Roll up and transfer to the baking tray.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until bacon is browned and crisp, 10 to 15 minutes.

    I made these but added some minced garlic, garlic powder and onion powder to the cream cheese filling. I used half a slice of bacon.     The platter was empty within 10 minutes of the party starting. I didn't feel like doing all the math so I used 1 8 oz package of cream chees and 1 cup of brown sugar. It made enough for 3 lbs of bacon. I cut the bacon slices in half.
