    Carrots, banana, red pepper and cucumbers are blended with grapefruit juice in this refreshing dairy-free smoothie that's ready in 15 minutes.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 banana
    • 135g chopped cucumbers
    • 100g chopped red pepper
    • 120ml grapefruit juice
    • 65g chopped carrots
    • ice cubes

    1. Combine banana, cucumbers, red pepper, grapefruit juice and carrots in a blender; blend until smooth.
    2. Fill a glass with ice and pour smoothie over ice.

    I liked this, though I did feel that the grapefruit juice overpowers all other flavors. A little less of that, and I think this is certainly a keeper smoothie!  -  05 Mar 2017  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)


    12.27.16 I blended this, tasted it, and then realized I’d forgotten the grapefruit juice. Added the grapefruit juice, blended again, and I must say that I liked it better without the grapefruit juice which IMO left a bit of an aftertaste. I liked the freshness of this smoothie and the fact that you’re “drinking” healthy veggies, but this one didn’t win over my hubby.
