Almond dukka

    Traditionally made with hazelnuts, this version of dukka uses almonds instead. Serve with fresh bread and dipping oil.

    • 100g chopped blanched almonds
    • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
    • 4 teaspoons red chilli powder
    • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
    • 1 teaspoon onion salt
    • 1 teaspoon celery salt
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper, or to taste

    1. Grind almonds into small pieces using a mortar and pestle. Add sesame seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric, onion salt, celery salt, cumin seeds, coriander and cayenne; mix well.
