This spicy vegan black bean and sweet potato salad is tossed in a simple lime dressing creating a warm, colourful salad or side dish.

I used sweet potatoes as the recipe called for. My potatoes were almost white not the orange in the picture. Yams? I also put the cubed potatoes in a bowl and tossed them with the oil and spices . it seemed to coat the potatoes better and distribute the flavors.
