Spinach and mint green smoothie

    This spinach and mint smoothie also has banana, avocado, lemon, almonds and flaxseed to give you the energy boost you need to get you through a busy morning.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 30g fresh spinach, or more to taste
    • 1/2 banana
    • 1/2 avocado
    • 1 kiwi, peeled
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • 10 mint leaves
    • 6 almonds
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
    • 240ml cold water, or as needed to cover
    • 3 ice cubes

    1. Combine spinach, banana, avocado, kiwi, lemon juice, mint, almonds, maple syrup and flaxseeds in a blender. Add enough water to almost cover ingredients; blend until smooth. Add ice and blend thoroughly.
