Dairy and egg free pancake

    An egg free and if you like a gluten free pancake. Super easy to make!

    Makes: 8 large pancakes

    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
    • 200g plain or gluten free flour
    • 500ml oat milk (or other dairy free milk)
    • 1 tablespoon oil

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Mix together the water and chickpea flour (this replaces the egg).
    2. Combine the chickpea flour mix with the plain flour and half of the milk and smooth into a paste.
    3. Stir in remaining milk to make a thin batter and leave for 1 hour, or up to 12.
    4. Add a little oil to frying pan and pour a little batter just to cover pan base.
    5. When the pancake bubbles and the base is golden, flip and cook the other side.
    6. Serve with lemon and sugar or savoury fillings.

    Gluten free note

    If making gluten free, check labels of all ingredients to ensure they are 100% gluten free.
