CowBoy Hash!


    This is a simple and cheap recipe that's always been a family favorite. My dad used to make it and now I make it and so does my sister.

    • 1 Large White Onion
    • 1 Tablespoon of Oliver Oil
    • 500G of Mince Beef
    • 1 Can of Heinz Oxtail Soup
    • 1 Can of Heinz Baked Beans


    1. Dice onion
    2. Fry onion in oil until transparent
    3. Add mince and fry until brown.
    4. Add can of oxtail soup, and simmer for 25 minutes.
    5. Add beans and simmer for a further 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
    6. Serve.


    If sauce appears to be too watery add some cornflour. I find this recipe works well with a nice creamy mash potato, but I've also had it with thick cut chips.
