Khola's mint lassi

    Mint lassi is an old traditional subcontinental drink made specially in summers for breakfast and lunch. There are sweet and savoury versions, this one is savoury.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 480g plain yoghurt
    • 1 handful fresh mint leaves
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 240ml water
    • 1 pinch crushed black pepper (optional)
    • ice cubes to serve

    Method

    1. Put yoghurt and mint in a blender and blend it until smooth.
    2. Add salt and water in blender and further blend for a few seconds. Add pepper if desired.
    3. Put some ice cubes in large tall glasses and serve chilled. Enjoy.
