Easy shortbread rounds

    These shortbread is nice and soft and they only require three ingredients that you will most likely have at home already.

    Makes: 1 tray

    • 55g caster sugar
    • 180g self-raising flour
    • 125g salted butter

    1. Mix the sugar and flour with a whisk. Add the butter using your hands and mix until it holds together. If the mixture becomes crumby, add a few drops of water.
    2. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease a baking tray with spray or butter.
    3. Shape the mixture into little balls and place them on the baking tray., leaving ample distance between them so they can spread out during baking.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly coloured, about 15 minutes.
