Honey-garlic chicken wraps

    Your kids will love these simple honey garlic chicken wraps filled with rice and raw carrots that are quick and easy to make on a weeknight. The chicken is also good served whole over a bed of rice with the salad on the side.

    Serves: 8 

    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon cornflour
    • 1 clove garlic, or to taste, minced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
    • 600g warm cooked rice
    • 8 soft tortillas
    • 60g carrot matchsticks, or to taste

    1. Mix honey, soy sauce, cornflour and garlic together in a small bowl.
    2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook and stir chicken until cooked through, 5 to 8 minutes. Pour honey mixture over chicken; cook and stir until sauce thickens and coats chicken, 3 to 5 minutes.
    3. Divide warm rice among tortillas; spoon chicken on top. Cover chicken with carrots. Roll up wraps.
