Brown sauce spicy chicken

    A mixture of seasoning makes this baked chicken recipe so tasty. If you prefer it spicier, increase the amount of garlic and chilli.

    Serves: 2 

    • 2 chicken breasts, diced
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
    • 1 tablespoon brown sauce
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 green chilli, minced

    1. Dice and wash chicken breasts and pat dry.
    2. Mix all seasoning, sauces, garlic and chilli together in a bowl. Add chicken and stir. Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour.
    3. Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
    4. Spread chicken on a foil-lined baking tray and cover the top with foil
    5. Bake until the chicken is no longer pink in the centre, about 30 minutes. Serve with salad or rice.


    I bulk buy my garlic, ginger and green chilli, chop them up and freeze in ice cube trays so I can use them as I want.
