Simple houmous

    Homemade houmous is simple and delicious, and it counts towards your 5 a day!

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 (400g) tin chickpeas, drained
    • 4 to 5 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 clove of garlic, grated
    • 1/2 teaspoon of salt, to taste
    • 1 lemon, juiced

    1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and blitz. Best served at room temperature with some warm pitta bread.
