Chocolate and Date Cake

    1 hour 15 min

This cake is simple enough to eat with a cuppa, yet good enough to serve for a special occasion. It's one of my family's favourites.

This cake is yummy. Watch carefully after 40 minutes so it doesn't burn. The children don't care for it, but that's OK, that much more for me!  -  18 Jul 2008

I liked cake but would have preferred for it to be more moist. It was quite crumbly. Having said that, my fussy family loved it!  -  03 Sep 2017
